HCC Child Protection Policy statement
This Club is committed to all aspects of Child Welfare and Protection and in doing has fully adopted the ECB Child Protection policy – ‘Safe Hands’. A copy of which can be downloaded from the ECB website or found behind the Members Bar.
- The Club has appointed a Child Welfare Officer – see list of officers – who has attended Sport England’s “Good Practice and Child Protection” course and the NSPCC’s “Time to Listen” course.
- All Child Protection and Welfare issues should, in the first instance, be directed to the Child Welfare Officer.
- All Child Protection and Welfare issues will be dealt with according to the procedures set out by the ECB.
- All coaching sessions will be run by fully qualified ECB coaches who have suitable insurance cover, current CRB check certificates and have up to date certificates in ‘Good Practice and Child Protection’ and ‘First Aid’
